(1-25 of 31)Join.me: the creme of the crop
- Screen sharing
- Internet calling
- Unlimited audio with international conference lines.
- Easy interface
- I would like them to bring back hosting free. Some clients of mine would love this.
- Screen sharing
- Remote computer control from anywhere
- Easy to install and get up and running
- Certain features can be a little hard to find
- Not the best user interface compared to some of the more expansive competitors
Meeting with ease
- Easy access to the product
- Very user friendly, intuitive product
- Great for virtual meetings
- Easy connection to utilize product
- I remember times when using the link that someone sent didn't work
- It wasn't always consistent
Doesn't work as well when there is a large number of meeting participants. Found that the links didn't always work.
Don't Join.me
- Free.
- Easy to use.
- Limited features.
- Slow at times.
Join.me - A Video Conferencing Tool For The Rest of Us
- No need to download anything to get started. Once you sign up you can get started from within your browser. This is probably the single best feature, its a get up and go solution for video conferencing and you do not need any software for it to work.
- The one click join a meeting URL is genius. Users who struggle with remembering passwords or invites can just click a link and immediately participate in a meeting which means one email and a couple of clicks and a meeting can start.
- Good control features - As the main user, you have many control features including deciding who can speak, annotations, screen sharing easily.
- Screen Recordings to the Cloud - This can save on time when you have had a long conference, you can save a recording to the cloud and download it later.
- There is no free tier version beyond a free trial. It would be good if there was a free version of some sort.
- If you have a large meeting, it can be a bit unstable, whether this is connectivity or the platform itself is hard to say.
- Mobile Apps do not offer the same experience as the web experience, you can find yourself kicked out of a meeting while other participants may still be in the same meeting. Some synergy between the web and mobile apps would be great.
Join me in a meeting any time, anywhere
- Easy to get potential clients on the demonstration from their site.
- User-friendly platform.
- Customized emails to send over to people with calendar invites attached as well.
- Lag time - I understand it depends on the internet access by both parties but either way can be extremely frustrating.
- Recording a demonstration could be easier.
The best alternative, a shame no-one is using it
Janky Wi-Fi and crappy mobile? Join.me's got you, fam
- Screen sharing.
- Global toll-free telephony.
- Product integration.
- There are no shortcomings in this product, at least for our team. It's a perfect fit. I don't have to think about it. It's a perfect fit. I don't have to think about it.
Doesn't require attendees to download a plugin, so makes starting meetings faster and easier
- Most importantly, it's very quick and easy for companies to join. You have a custom URL and you just tell them to go there and follow the directions.
- They do NOT have to download a plugin to see your screen, which makes things a LOT easier. They only have to download the plugin if you want to have them share their screen or give them mouse control.
- It loads pretty quickly and has a lot of local numbers, typically the directions are clear and clients don't have trouble joining.
- Occasionally I have clients who have difficulty joining, I think it may be due to a technical glitch so I'm looking into that.
- As with any screen sharing, sometimes the image lags a lot if either party has a slow internet connection.
Have you tried Join.me for your meetings?
- They offer a free trial version for you to try before you even decide if it's right for you. But they also have 3 great packages to believe in. We are using the Pro Version, which is right in the middle.
- You can host video conferences and record them for team members that couldn't make the meeting.
- We can instantly have reports converted to Excel.
- Honestly, There is nothing I can say negative at the moment. I actually forgot to mention they also have an option for Toll-free calling. You would have to have the OpenVoice before you use it to connect, but it is available if needed.
Since using Join.me, we even have convenient, in-app reminders of scheduled upcoming meetings. I would recommend this to small businesses, which is what we are, but it is also perfect for larger groups.

You'll want to Join(.me) in!
- Ease of use - the Join.me product and platform are very easy to use, even if it is someone's first time.
- Trial option - the company offers a free trial option, which is great if a company isn't sure how it would work for them - they can test it out without making an investment.
- Help section - the company's help section is really useful and it's fairly easy to search if you need help figuring something out.
- No password protection - you can't protect a meeting with a password that you only share with intended participants. Instead, participants have to "knock" to be let in - but that means someone has to be on the lookout for those requests.
- Limits to the whiteboard - the whiteboard functionality is limited to tablets, which is a bummer if you have many participants on their work desktop computers or laptops.
- Screen sharing - sometimes it won't work on particular browsers.
Join.me is a simple and easy screen sharing app
- Simple to join the session.
- Custom URL and call in number.
- People attending require no software just a web browser.
- Software for the presenter is easy to install and use.
- Settings for the presenter are a little clunky.
- Attendees screens delayed anywhere 2-20 seconds.
- It is simple but quite extensive for its price point.
A simple and easy solution for team collaboration
- Join.me provides easy and simple to use screen sharing.
- Join.me provides multiple audio options.
- Join.me makes it easy to invite participants.
- Join.me's video conferencing is a bit choppy, this could be better.
- I wish there was an easier way to convert recorded sessions.
- I wish it offered toll-free conferencing.
Join.Me - Good for Small Groups and Limited Use
- Easily recognizable by clients
- Easy to share meeting code
- Can create a free account to demo
- Audio quality
- Video quality
- Being able to record and edit audio and video easily
Join.Me, a great tool for quick, short initial remote connections.
- Easy of use for the end user, well-designed webpage.
- Simple, quick download for quick remote connections to workstations.
- Several nice features after obtaining control and overall an efficient tool.
- Technically deficient users sometimes have trouble with the website domain name.
- The connection can be slow at times when trying to obtain mouse and keyboard control.
- Latency when clicking or typing as well as bugs when focusing on specific windows on the remote computer.
Join.me, great software, unless you use a Chromebook
- One of the things I like about Join.me is my branded url that I can send people when I need them to join. It was very easy to make links for them right to my specific meeting.
- Join.me has very good video quality. The person on the other end doesn't seem to have much of a lag, if any at all.
- Easy enough to change presenters, which you need the pro version for.
- I usually use Join.me when on the actual phone with a person. I've tried a couple of times using the call-in phone number and had issues hearing the other person, but that could be due to the other person's computer setup.
- Join.me has a Chrome browser extension, but they don't have a Chromebook specific app for my Chromebook. My laptop is a Chromebook and I use it enough where I would have liked to get on a conference with a client to no avail. This is very frustrating as there are a lot of Chromebooks being sold.
- The pricing shows how much per month, but the * says: "*Amount shown is price per month and billed on an annual per user basis."
- Now sure why software does that. Just give me a yearly price.
Join.me is not suited for people who have Chromebooks. I'm a tech guy and a lot of people come to me to ask about what hardware/software they should buy. I've been telling them how great Chromebooks are, and they love them. Kind of tough to recommend Join.me to them... as they'd be wasting their money since the Join.me download won't work.
- The screen sharing as well as the ability to control another users mouse is an excellent feature!
- Persistent Link for Meetings which is easy for everyone to remember.
- Multiple conference call numbers which cover most geographies.
- Additional Conference Call Numbers or perhaps a toll free number. There are times where there are no dial-in numbers for specific cities where are customers are located.
Join.me - the quick solution for screen sharing
- Very easy to join a join.me - simple instructions
- Free to use (at least on the most basic level)
- Easy to teach other employees how to use
- Bit of a lag with when my screen moves to when the other screen moves
- Some clients still have difficulty using this
- Great for 2 people to be on, but not the best medium for 3 or more
Love it! Quick and easy.
- Free to use the bare minimum features like having a few people join the call, with the option of video conferencing, and ability to share screen (all participants)
- Intuitive. I don't have to spend time learning how to use it it is easy to figure out.
- Sign up is very quick, they don't ask you for a lot of information.
- Paid options are very reasonably priced.
- The things I can think of are very minimal. The Features page lists a lot of additional things we can get, but I can't tell if I can get with the free version I currently have or if I have to pay to access them. I've only used the free options, those extra options are things I didn't even know I could do/had access to.
The Free/Cheap Screensharing Software That Gets The Job Done
- Screen sharing with ease. Simple install and run.
- Seems to disconnect randomly. (No, this is not an Internet issue).
- Small lag occasionally between what's on our screen and what's on the customer's screen.
Join.me works in a pinch!
- Getting connected to customers is easy.
- Fairly fast loading of initial web site.
- File transfers could be easier. Users have to accept the transfer, no drag and drop, etc.
- The screen refresh/redraw is quite slow. Mouse movement can be slow/choppy.
Join.Me Review
- Reliable. Never had a time that it failed to work.
- Easy for users on both side. Both the initiator and end user.
- Easy set up and install.
- Has some issues with Chrome browser.
- Can take a fair amount of computing power for some parts of it on an older PC.
Join.me is great for ad-hoc screen sharing!
- It is easy to access and use with just a couple of clicks.
- No large plugin installation needed like some other utilities (such as GoToMeeting). Quick download and launch.
- Typically, the UI is very responsive with screen sharing.
- It's random sometimes when it will require you to login. This is troublesome for our remote customers as it's another step they may have to take.
- CPU utilization can get quite high. This happens both on my MacBook Pro and also on Windows VMs.
- Recently the application has either hung or not installed/launched properly in Windows.
- Depending on the technical savvy of the remote user, they sometimes want to go to join.me.com or are simply confused when directed to "Go to join dot me in your web browser."
Happier Free Conference Calls
